A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking the professional experience of a Payroll Manager.

As the Payroll Manager, you will lead and oversee the payroll team ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll in compliance with both business and legal requirements.

As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee Payroll Operations: Ensure that payroll processes are standardized and accurate by developing and implementing effective payroll procedures, controls, and guidelines.
• System and Data Integrity: Continuously monitor payroll systems and data to identify and mitigate risks including fraud and take corrective actions as needed.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with statutory and third-party reporting requirements by submitting all of the necessary reconciliations and providing accurate data for monthly and annual finance and HR reports.
• Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders while working closely with payroll, finance, HR, and line management to maintain trust in the transparency and confidentiality of payroll processes.
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, train, and manage the payroll team to drive performance aligned with the company's leadership principles and organizational values.
• Employee Satisfaction: Address employee questions and concerns related to pay deductions and company contributions ensuring clarity and high satisfaction levels.
• Project Support: Participate in payroll-related projects to ensure their successful completion and support the continuity of business operations.

Qualifications:

• Completed Matric
• Payroll qualification would be beneficial

Requirements:

• 5-7 years experience in a similar position
• Familiarity with the legislation and tax requirements of Eswatini, Lesotho, and Mozambique
