SUMMARY: Our client in the mining sector is looking for a PAYROLL / HR OFFICER to join their team in Rustenburg, NWP.

Note: South African Citizens and those living in the area will be preferred.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • HR / Payroll Certificates
  • Valid Driver’s License & Own Vehicle
  • Medically Fit

Experience & Role Requirements:
  • Experience with UIF, Payroll, Labour Law, etc.
  • Compile monthly management reports as required.
  • Implement performance management/talent management initiatives to enhance knowledge & skills sharing/transfer.
  • Manage the Payroll System and be responsible for forwarding final Pay.
  • Onboarding & exiting of employees.
  • End-to-end payroll processing, oversight, and administration on payroll system, including new engagements, terminations, staff movements, and monthly payroll input.
  • Systems administration and maintenance.
  • Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures and ensure good governance.
  • Contribute to the executive team by evaluating business results.
  • Assist with planning and delivering HR-related projects.
  • Manage and advise on day-to-day HR operational issues.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Able to work independently and supervise staff as required.
  • Ability to work within a team and handle demanding co-workers.
  • Available to travel for training purposes.
  • Able to work alone for extended periods when management is away.
