What you'll do:

  1. Evaluate and select relevant software for running payroll incorporating Deel product technology requirements.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely payroll in your region as well as in other trained countries.
  3. Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports ensuring compliance with local tax authorities.
  4. Own all critical local payroll and HR processes including setting up involuntary deductions, supporting onboardings and offboardings of employees on record in your region.
  5. Schedule payroll expenses collections and reconcile collections to expenses.
  6. Assess and improve rapid growth processes and procedures ensuring compliance.
  7. Stay informed of relevant local regulatory and policy changes, communicating and establishing key changes across teams.
  8. Work cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters in your region.
  9. Answer complex payroll and HR related questions from employees and clients in your region.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  2. 4 years of payroll and HR experience with experience in relevant country.
  3. Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR.
  4. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines timely and accurately.
  5. Strong verbal and written skills to connect with clients and align with various stakeholders.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills explaining complex issues at an understandable level.
  7. Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions.
  8. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
  9. Strong proficiency in English.
  10. Experience managing technology and external payroll providers is an advantage.
  11. Experience with implementation of new payrolls on an industry-recognized payroll solution is preferred.
  12. Experience in multiple country jurisdictions is an advantage.
  13. Experience with multiple payroll technologies is an advantage.
