Honeydew, Johannesburg
R15 000 - R18 000 per month
Duration: Permanent

A well-established business in the food retail and distribution sector is seeking a meticulous and analytical Payroll Data Administrator to join their team in the Honeydew area. This full-time role focuses on salary data capture, reconciliation, and reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting payroll accuracy and financial compliance by ensuring data integrity and collaborating closely with HR, payroll, and finance teams.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  2. Familiarity with spreadsheets and data management tools
  3. Understanding of payroll systems (working with outsourced payroll is a plus)
  4. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  6. Effective communication and collaboration skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Accurately capture salary and expense data into internal systems or spreadsheets
  2. Reconcile salary records with financial statements or payroll systems
  3. Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  4. Maintain organized documentation for expense reports and credit application
  5. Generate and compile salary reconciliation reports for management and audits
  6. Safeguard salary records and ensure easy retrieval when needed
  7. Liaise with HR, payroll, and finance departments to address data issues or collect missing information
