Qualifications

Payroll Administration:
- Assist with the processing of monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Capture payroll changes, earnings, and deductions on Sage 300 People
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide necessary support
- Address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Load new employees on the system
- Capture employee changes (variations) on the system
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to the HR and Payroll Officer for review
- Assist with audits and ensure that payroll records and other HR documentation are maintained in accordance with legal requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information and records
- Complete staff resignation process
- Reviewing of time sheets
- Submit calculated timesheets for processing
- Calculation of incentives
- Maintain payroll information of staff and leave schedules
- Managing staff salary advances and expense claims
- ESS password resets
- Maintaining exit interview register
- Maintaining promotions register
- Check time and date on clocking system
- Monitor leave
Human Resources Support:
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees
- Assist with benefits administration, including medical aid, provident fund, and other employee benefits.
- Maintain HR information such as training, qualifications, disciplinary discussions.
General Administration:
- Handle employee queries regarding HR policies, payroll, leave and benefits.
- Support other HR functions and administrative tasks as required.
- Assist with timesheet management.
Requirements:
- Matric, HR Diploma or Certificate, Sage 300 People
- 1-3 years experience in a similar role
- Computer Literate in all MS Packages
- Self-Motivated, Meticulous, and Deadline driven
- Must demonstrate the ability to handle large volumes of data, information, projects, and tasks at any given time
