Job description

RPO Recruitment is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our client's team in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll and maintaining accurate records of employee earnings, deductions, and hours worked.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct weekly payroll processing and related administrative tasks
  2. Ensure accurate employee deductions and third-party payments
  3. Handle terminations and maintain employee records
  4. Compile reports, update budgets, and assist with wage inquiries
  5. Manage bonus schedules, UIF documentation, and HR reporting
  6. Coordinate staff taxi assistance, timesheet submissions, and ad hoc payroll duties as needed

Qualifications

  1. Matric Certificate with a preference for Math and Accounting
  2. Certificate/diploma in accounting, payroll, or HR
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  4. Experience with Sage People and Kronos time & attendance systems
  5. Psychometric testing may be required for certain positions
