Key Performance Areas:

1. Manage end-to-end payroll processes for multiple clients using Sage Pastel Payroll.
2. Process deductions, including taxes, pension, and medical benefits.
3. Maintain accurate payroll reports, including salary, bonuses, and overtime.
4. Update and manage employee records (promotions, terminations, tax changes, etc.).
5. Ensure payroll aligns with income tax, UIF, SDL, and pension regulations.
6. Prepare and submit statutory returns (EMP, IRP5, etc.) to SARS.
7. Stay up to date with legislative changes affecting payroll processing.
8. Handle payroll-related queries efficiently and professionally.
9. Assist with additional administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 7 years' experience in payroll administration.
2. Strong knowledge of statutory payroll processes and tax compliance.
3. Proficiency in Sage Pastel Payroll is a must.
4. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
5. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
