Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional with a passion for accuracy and compliance? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where deadlines matter and precision is key? If so, this Payroll Administrator role based in Cape Town could be the perfect next step in your career. Our client, a well-established firm, is seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to manage end-to-end payroll functions across a portfolio of clients.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Process payroll for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cycles
  • Handle new employee onboarding and termination administration
  • Maintain and update employee records
  • Distribute payslips to staff
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns (EMP501, EMP201, VAT201)
  • Complete tax year-end processes and distribute IRP5 certificates
  • Manage Workman’s Compensation registration and annual ROE submission
  • Handle UIF registration
  • Perform full accounting function up to trial balance
  • Reconcile debtors, creditors, and general ledger accounts monthly
  • Compile monthly management reports

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in payroll
  • Be able to thrive in a hybrid environment
