As part of the team, you will manage all activities related to delivering a value-adding, cost-effective, customer-focused payroll service and foster continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  1. Timely and accurate data entry into the SAP system
  2. Processing payroll efficiently and accurately
  3. Responding promptly to customer queries
  4. Reconciliation and audits
  5. Processing employee payments accurately
  6. Managing employee entitlements and statutory deductions (tax, pension, medical aid contributions)

Assist with customer relations and management thereof.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' full cycle payroll experience
  • 5 years weekly wages experience
  • Experience in a large, complex payroll department
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially with HR

Qualifications:

  • Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of SAP Payroll System
  • Exposure to HR Administration systems
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll taxes (PAYE, SITE, VAT) and legislation
