Job description

Well known company based in Johannesburg South requires a Payroll Administrator for salaries and wages.

Individuals who apply must have SAGE / VIP experience.

Own transport is essential as you will travel to another branch when required.You will be responsible for performing a full payroll function, including but not limited to : Full processing of monthly (± employees) and weekly (±15 employees) payrolls : Collating and processing of payroll informationInput new employees and exits, as well as changes to personal informationHandling staff queries regarding payrollDistributing payslips (hard copies and Info slips)Preparing all payroll related reports for the managerRun month end processes;Prepare and maintain accurate records;Year-end processing and reconciliation including payment summaries;Ad hoc HR and Payroll matters;Work closely with and provide clerical support to Human Resources;Conduct and / or assist with new hire orientation;Capturing and filing of employee documentation;Perform any other duties as assigned.Required Skills / Abilities : Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism, and diplomacyExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareProficient with VIPDriver's licence and own car advantageousEducation and Experience : Minimum Matric / Grade 12At least 2 years' experience working as a Payroll AdministratorAt least 2 years' experience working on VIPOwn transport is required as you will travel to the other branch from time to timeAttention to detail and accuracy is vital for this position
