County Fair, a division of Astral Operations Limited has this opportunity for a Payroll Administrator based in Epping II in the Western Cape.
The overall purpose of the role is the processing and administration of the Wages / Hourly paid payroll for the site.
Qualifications And Experience Required
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification is essential;
At least 5 years computerized payroll experience;
Exposure to the Integrity Payroll System will be an added advantage;
Other Requirements
Computer literate in MS Office (MS Excel, advanced, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint);
FIHRST Connect System experience or exposure;
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Must have strong administration and problem-solving ability with good attention to detail;
Have the ability to work in a pressurized, deadline-driven environment and able to resolve queries from employees and management swiftly and efficiently;
Basic understanding of the 20 Keys concept is a great advantage;
Primary Responsibility And Accountability
Compile weekly and monthly payroll input;
Follow up with all relevant parties to ensure that all input has been received;
Responsible for the accurate administration of the weekly and monthly payrolls;
Attend to all queries in a professional manner;
Ensure to follow Standard Operating Procedures and comply with company policies and procedures;
Administer the timely and accurate submission of all required returns in relation to the wage function;
Attend to the timely and accurate payment of all wages staff and make the appropriate statutory deductions;
Assistance to the HR Department with all queries and required documentation and information;
Complete the weekly and monthly payroll checklists;
Responsible for compiling weekly / monthly reports;
Responsible for weekly and monthly payroll extractions;
Ensure that all filing with regards to employee personnel files are up to date;
Perform any other duties and tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
