Job summary

A retail company is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processes accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of payroll administration experience and 1-3 years of experience with SAGE 300 People payroll. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. This role is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

  • Maintaining all payroll information.
  • Distributing payroll reports, payslips, and summaries.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies promptly.

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Payroll Administrator to join our company.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes for various companies. You will play a crucial role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time.

Main Responsibilities

  • Processing and administering payroll for assigned company stores accurately and timely
  • Maintaining employee payroll records
  • Handling new hires and terminations
  • Calculating and managing payroll deductions, taxes, and benefits
  • Maintaining all payroll information
  • Distributing payroll reports, payslips, and summaries
  • Performing other payroll and administrative tasks as required
  • Managing emails and phone communications related to payroll
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies promptly
  • Submitting Monthly EMP201s and UIF Declarations
