Job description

Our client a leading company in the FMCG manufacturing industry is currently looking to hire a skilled payroll Administrator. The successful candidate must bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience demonstrating expertise in managing payroll processes and supporting related HR functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where accuracy, compliance, and efficiency are essential. The selected candidate will ensure the timely and accurate processing of employee wages and maintain up-to-date payroll records, contributing significantly to the organisation's overall operational success.

  • Matric.
  • Diploma in Payroll Administration or Human Resources.
  • Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel, including experience using formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis tools.
  • Essential : Sage and Eco Time.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and process monthly wages for approximately 170+ staff members, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Oversee and manage the payroll process for outsourced weekly casual wages.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, update employee information and handle payroll-related queries and compliance matters.
  • Support HR functions including but not limited to employee onboarding documentation, maintaining staff records, and assisting with general HR administration.
