About the Role:

The Junior Accountant supports the Finance Administration team by reporting to the Senior Accountant acting as a key player in accounting and finance reporting activities. You will be at the center of financial operations, supporting accurate and timely reporting.

You’ll will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring tasks are completed with a proactive and responsible approach. Your ability to meet deadlines and apply soft skills in daily interactions will contribute to a smooth workflow.

Main Responsibilities:

• Processing and maintaining creditors accounts.
• Ensure adherence to company Source to Pay Policy.
• Reconciliation of accounts and loading of payments on the system in accordance with payment terms.
• Review and maintain the Invoices to be received GL accounts (GR/IR) monthly.
• Prepare monthly AP reports.
• Maintenance of general ledger accounts by analysing and reconciling balance sheet accounts while ensuring accounting entries are in line with IFRS principles.
• Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts monthly.
• Reconciling sub-module (AP, AR, FA register) to the general ledger control accounts.
• Process cashbook, credit, fleet and car hire accounts and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, yearly closing activities.
• Ad hoc Finance activities

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor of Accounting Degree is required.
• CA/CIMA articles/qualification is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG.
• Good communication skills, ability to challenge and to properly collaborate with key partners.
• Strong organizational and administration skills.
• "Problem solver" attitude and prioritization skills.
• Analytical mindset and excellent attention to details.
