Job summary

Mediclinic is seeking a driver/escort to support hospital operations by transporting patients, equipment and files between departments. You will ensure safety, confidentiality, and adherence to Mediclinic values while performing driving tasks as requested within hospital guidelines.

The role requires Grade 10, client-service experience, and English proficiency, with PDP license and basic radio/computer skills considered advantageous. Training and a stable hospital environment are provided.

Qualifications

• ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 10
• ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Client services / Dealing with the public
• DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Healthcare experience (e.g. care work)
• Licence with PDP and two-way radio knowledge are favorable

Responsibilities

• Transport and escort patients safely to a pre-determined location
• Assist with evacuations during emergency situations
• Execute Driver function (as per hospital request and within hospital guidelines)
• Ensure integrity and confidentiality of patient rights and Mediclinic values
