Job description

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for assisting all patients via phone and answering all questions related to Mindful Care while exemplifying excellent customer service skills.

You will play a critical role in strengthening relationships with patients and connecting them to treatment.

Responsibilities
  1. Answering all incoming calls as the first point of contact for all Mindful Care callers including new patients, existing patients, and patient inquiries and scheduling.
  2. Directing to the appropriate line if an escalation is needed.
  3. Understanding of Mindful Care Services & what's within our treatment capacity.
  4. Assist with questions regarding the policies for receiving paperwork and what documentation we're able to provide.
  5. Reviewing / collecting payments, patient balances, and sending payment links.
  6. Handle basic inquiries related to billing, escalating detailed billing issues to relevant departments.
  7. Provide Tech Support with patient portal, zoom links and registration process.
  8. Facility experts to provide location information as needed.
Candidate Profile
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Experience in a call center environment; previous experience in healthcare is preferred.
  3. Prior customer service experience, medical or mental health practices preferred.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to schedule appointments depending on the patient needs.
  7. Must be well organized and attentive to details.
  8. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced work environment.
  9. Must have strong computer proficiency.
  10. Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture.
Position Type & Schedule

Type: Contract Full-time
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm or 11am - 8pm EST

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $4 / hr.
Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
