Job description

New opportunity as Pastry Chef has become available with the luxury hotel group based in Cape Town – We’re targeting hospitality professionals from the hotel industry servicing multiple outlets.

As Pastry Chef reporting to the Exec Chef, you’ll be responsible for leading & training your team in a positive working environment while creating memorable dining experiences for clientele, assisting in running a profitable kitchen, and adhering to brand standards & HACCP.

Successful Candidates:

• SA Nationals or those with existing work permits.
• Strong working knowledge of international cuisines, ingredients & products.
• 5 years of experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Accreditation from a recognized Culinary School.
• Food Hygiene and Safety trained.
• Comfortable in both pastry & bakery departments.

Salary Package: Up to R30000 DOE + benefits
