Purpose Of The Job :

Our client is looking for a New Vehicle Sales Manager to join them in leading the Stellantis Brand, sales and actively contributing to sales while managing and motivating the team to achieve departmental targets. This role combines strategic planning, team leadership, customer relationship management, and operational oversight to drive sales performance and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy & Targets

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed new vehicle sales targets
  • Set clear, measurable goals for the sales team aligned with dealership objectives
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maintain high performance and morale
  • Provide ongoing training in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service
  • Recruit and onboard new sales staff aligned with the dealership’s culture and goals

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Handle escalated customer issues professionally and effectively
  • Implement follow-up strategies to convert leads and encourage repeat business
  • Ensure optimal stock levels of new vehicles aligned with customer demand and market trends
  • Oversee competitive pricing strategies within dealership margin guidelines
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote offers, financing options, and trade-in deals
  • Manage the department’s budget and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Generate and analyse sales reports to track progress and forecast future performance
  • Drive profitability while achieving sales targets
  • Work closely with finance, service, and marketing departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and promotional support

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new vehicle models
  • Adjust sales tactics based on market insights to maintain a competitive edge

Compliance & Legal Responsibilities

  • Ensure all sales processes comply with legal and manufacturer requirements
  • Oversee accurate processing of contracts, paperwork, and documentation

Requirements :

  • Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in a sales management role, within a dealership, automotive environment
  • Strong leadership background with a track record of achieving sales targets and developing high-performing teams
  • Automotive Industry experience Essential!!

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ), especially in high-pressure environments
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
