Job Title : Parts Sales Executive (Hyundai Boksburg)

Job Description :

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB : To conduct all transactions with customers with the utmost courtesy, correctly place items in stores, ensure accurate identification of customer needs by means of parts catalogue and computer stock lists, receive and identify stock, check goods from suppliers, and implement applicable discount structures.

Specific Role Responsibilities :

  1. Improved Profitability : Ensure all required parts for repairs or services and additional accessories are offered to customers; keep stock safe and in first-class condition; ensure receipts, payments, or authorized signatures are received for all issues.
  2. Customer Service and Satisfaction : Show utmost courtesy and consideration to all customers; ensure all issues are in first-class condition and suitable for use.
  3. Cost Control : Keep stock in good condition; issue stock according to payment policy; guard against unauthorized withdrawals; maintain stock control systems.
  4. Staff : Assist company staff in parts identification and training new parts personnel.
  5. Administration : Ensure all paperwork and documentation are properly recorded; ensure credit sales are made to authorized signatories; keep parts catalogues updated and tidy.
  6. Communications : Keep Parts Manager informed of stock movement; notify Parts Manager of any discrepancies in incoming goods; maintain good relationships with customers.
  7. Marketing : Assist in marketing activities as required.
  8. Finance : Ensure transactions comply with company policy; secure all cash and cheques; be numerate and literate at the clerical level; understand basic vehicle layout and part identification; receive training in standard stock-keeping systems; use stock control equipment; provide courteous service to customers.
