We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Parts Sales Executive to join our team in Johannesburg North .

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in automotive parts sales, excellent customer service skills, and the drive to meet and exceed sales targets.

This role involves working closely with retail and trade customers, managing stock enquiries, processing orders, and building long-term client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in automotive parts sales (retail and / or trade)
  • Strong product knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories
  • Matric (Grade 12) – essential
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Target-driven with a customer-focused attitude
  • Computer literacy (MS Office; dealership systems / DMS experience advantageous)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license (advantageous for trade visits)

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively sell automotive parts and accessories to walk-in, phone-in, and trade customers
  • Identify customer needs and offer appropriate product solutions
  • Process orders and quotes accurately and efficiently
  • Follow up on customer enquiries, backorders, and deliveries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail clients
  • Assist with inventory management, stock counts, and ensuring stock availability
  • Support the workshop and service departments with internal parts requests
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall departmental goals
