Parts Sales Executive required in Northcliff, Johannesburg.
A leading automotive group is looking for a dynamic Parts Sales Executive to join their high-performance team.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about the motor industry, who can confidently manage parts sales across various divisions, new, pre-owned, and aftersales while delivering exceptional service.
The role includes supplier engagement, stock control, quoting, invoicing, and ensuring timely fulfilment of parts orders. Strong multitasking ability, target orientation, and customer service excellence are essential in this fast-paced environment.
Salary: R13 000 – R15 000 plus commission per month.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Valid driver’s license
- 3–4 years of experience in a pre-owned workshop or parts sales environment
- Ability to work independently and without supervision
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Deadline and target driven
- High attention to detail
- Effective communicator and team player
- Honest, transparent, and customer service focused
- Experienced working with Automotive CRM platforms and Email communication and digital tools
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced workshop
Duties and Responsibilities:
Parts Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Achieve monthly sales targets and grow repeat and new business
- Source and negotiate competitive pricing from suppliers
- Handle both retail and trade customer enquiries (internal and external)
- Process and track orders via digital platforms, CRM, and invoicing tools
- Manage cash sales: quote, invoice, receive payment, and update systems
- Provide exceptional service throughout the order-to-delivery process
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and pricing structures
New & Pre-Owned Vehicle Support:
- Manage parts and accessory orders linked to vehicle sales and PDIs
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and stock systems (Evolve & IAL)
- Coordinate with sales teams for upsells and costing allocations
- Ensure timely parts availability for new vehicle accessories and pre-owned repairs
- Liaise with workshop teams to facilitate seamless parts fitting
Warranty & Non-Warranty Part Handling:
- Identify parts required from job cards (warranty or technician-related)
- Prepare quotations with ETA and submit for approval
- Monitor supplier delivery times and communicate updates
- Book and track parts accurately in workshop and stock systems
- Store warranty parts appropriately for compliance
Aftersales & Customer Care Support:
- Respond to customer concerns escalated via aftersales channels
- Book diagnostics, coordinate part sourcing and fitting
- Keep customer care team updated on progress and timelines
- Ensure final checks are conducted and parts are billed correctly
