Permanent Position

As the Parts Controller you will be responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of parts to internal and external customers, ensuring stock integrity, warehouse organization, and supporting cross-border orders and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify new stock against purchase orders; inspect for damages.
  • Process receipts in Autoline from both local and international suppliers.
  • Validate part numbers and bin items correctly.
  • Pick parts daily as per job cards and verify correctness before issuing to technicians.
  • Generate picking slips and process counter sales per WIP.
  • Prepare and pack parts stock orders for cross-border delivery.
  • Perform perpetual and annual inventory counts.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and accurately labelled bin areas.
  • Return parts to inventory per process and record all necessary documentation.
  • Ensure daily housekeeping of the parts store.
  • Monitor stock levels and alert manager for reorders.
  • Deliver parts to customers when necessary.
  • File picking slips and purchase orders as required.
  • Support ISO, health, and safety initiatives.
  • Contribute to business growth by targeting new parts customers.
  • Meet annual financial and operational targets.

Requirements

  • Matric with a 3-year post-matric qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience, preferably in a forklift parts environment.
  • Computer literacy : MS Word, Excel; experience with Autoline advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s licence; forklift licence beneficial.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts.
  • Physically able to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
