We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Video Editor & Graphic Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with the brand’s style, message, and goals. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, proficiency in video editing software and graphic design, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. This role will involve supporting a marketing agency by creating on-brand graphics and visual content for their clients' campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished final content.
- Add motion graphics, titles, captions, transitions, and other visual elements as needed.
- Create high-quality graphics and visuals to support marketing content.
- Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance production quality.
- Ensure brand consistency across all video and graphic content.
- Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to bring concepts to life.
- Manage multiple editing and graphic design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, design styles, and editing techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer with a portfolio of past work.
- Proven experience in graphic design, with examples of Canva or Adobe-based designs.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Experience working with Canva as a primary design platform; experience with Adobe Suite is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, design, and pacing.
- Ability to take feedback and make revisions quickly.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is a plus.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Video Editor and/or Graphic Designer.
- Strong proficiency in Canva, with additional experience in Adobe tools highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and design principles.
- Ability to manage multiple creative projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with a marketing team.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms.
