Job description

The Shop Assistant will work with the Shop Manager to ensure that learners and parents of Rustenburg High and Junior schools are served and assisted to fulfil their uniform requirements. Retail and customer management experience is essential. Experience in clothing sales or procurement would be an advantage. A friendly and proactive attitude is essential.

The Shop Assistant’s normal working hours would be :

• Monday and Wednesday from 11 : 15 to 16 : 00
• Friday from 10 : 45 to 15 : 00
• The FIRST Saturday of the month from 08 : 30 to 11 : 30 (except where this falls in the School Holidays)

During the High Season of December and January, additional opening days and extended opening hours may be implemented, for which overtime may be claimed. This is a part-time position which, under normal circumstances, amounts to 14 hours per week, and is paid monthly.
