IIE MSA, since April 2019 we are part of The Independent Institution of Education (The IIE), a leader in the higher education sphere. The IIE is internationally recognised by the British Accreditation Council. IIE MSA, located on a 100-hectare campus in Ruimsig, Johannesburg, in the province of Gauteng. In addition to domestic (South African) students, IIE MSA is home to a diverse of cultures of students from 50 African countries.
The IIE MSA, Ruimsig Campus has a vacancy for a Part-time Supervisor (Intermediate Phase)
Duties:
The supervisor will need to:
- Visit schools to engage with mentor teachers about student performance.
- Observe selected lessons and activities, providing detailed developmental feedback to the student.
- Complete a Lesson Feedback Report after observing at least one lesson, with the possibility of additional lesson observations depending on the programme and year of study.
- Conduct at least one lesson feedback session with the student, preferably immediately after the lesson, to discuss the lesson and outline developmental plans.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour’s degree or
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8)
- And: The undergraduate qualification or postgraduate qualification must include a focus on Intermediate Phase/Senior Phase/ Further Education and Training band
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
- School teaching experience in Intermediate Phase/Senior Phase/ Further Education and Training band.
- Note: Teaching experience does not include experience gained during Teaching practice / Work Integrated Learning / Intern work or being a Teaching assistant.
