Job summary

Core Group in Knysna is seeking a Sales Consultant to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a premium technology retail environment. You will help customers find the right products and accessories while building lasting relationships.

As the face of our brand, you will demonstrate products, work toward sales targets, and stay current with the latest technology and promotions. The role requires at least 1 year of retail experience and a passion for technology.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) required; retail experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in technology or electronics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

As a Sales Consultant, you'll be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences while helping customers discover the latest technology products and accessories that best suit their needs.

You'll be the face of our brand, confidently demonstrating products, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in a premium retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high visual merchandising and store presentation standards.


• Assist with stock management, merchandising, and daily operational tasks.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.


• Stay up to date with the latest technology products, promotions, and services.

What We're Looking For

• Matric (Grade 12 - Minimum requirement).


• Minimum of 1 year retail sales experience, preferably in consumer electronics, technology, telecommunications, or premium retail.


• A passion for technology and delivering outstanding customer experiences.


• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Confident, energetic, and customer-focused approach.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.


• Experience using POS systems (experience with iOS or similar technology is advantageous).


• Live within 15km of the store.

Working Hours

• Approximately 138 hours per month/32 hours per week.


• Retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays, according to the store roster.

Location

• This position is based at our multi-brand technology kiosk in Knysna.


• Reliable transport or a good understanding of local public transport routes is essential.
