Placements24 is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to join their team in Upington on a part-time basis. You will assist customers, handle sales at the POS, and help maintain a welcoming store atmosphere.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interactions with people and values reliable service. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive demeanor, and be able to work weekends and some evenings.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or retail sales experience is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive and approachable demeanor with a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and some evenings, in Upington.
• A reliable and punctual team player with a willingness to learn within the Northern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product inquiries and selection.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions and store policies.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized and well-stocked.
• Handle customer returns and exchanges per store guidelines.
