Job summary

Placements24 is looking for an energetic Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our busy East London store. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and drive sales through product knowledge and engagement.

This role offers flexible hours, weekend shifts, weekly pay at a competitive hourly rate, and a welcoming team environment in the Eastern Cape. Previous retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service in East London and the Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering product information and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including restocking shelves and tidying displays.
• Assist with receiving and processing new inventory shipments.
• Answer customer questions and resolve minor issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support the team in achieving store sales targets and upholding brand standards in East London.
