Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a client in East London, Eastern Cape, to hire a Sales Associate for their popular retail store. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, helping shoppers, and driving in-store sales.

You will greet customers, recommend products, process transactions at the POS, keep shelves tidy, manage stock, and work with the team to hit sales targets. A passion for service and flexibility, including weekends, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Basic math skills for handling transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers warmly upon entry to the store.
• Assist customers in finding products and provide knowledgeable recommendations.

• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean and well-organized.
