We are excited to announce that as a result of our continued success, we are currently recruiting for a Part Time P401 Qualified Laboratory Analyst to join our team in our newly established laboratory in Maidstone, Kent.

Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of bulk samples in line with ISO 17025 accreditation and the reporting of results both internally and externally.

Person Specification

The Successful Candidate Must Also Possess The Following

  • BOHS P401 is essential
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working in a UKAS accredited Laboratory as a qualified analyst
  • The candidate should be computer literate with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience working with TEAMS is preferable but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • The candidate must possess good attention to detail, communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to manage and organise their own workload effectively
  • Ability to work strictly according to the company’s established quality and safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain continued professional development through training and audits
What We Can Offer You

The hours of work are 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm or from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

  • A competitive 20-hour part-time annual salary starting from £13,780.00 (£13.25 per hour) to £14,237.60 (£13.69 per hour), based on industry experience and qualifications (London weighting applies)
  • Company-paid healthcare plan (long service award applies at 3 and 5 years)
  • A company pension, with a contribution of 3% of qualifying earnings
  • 22 days of annual leave (long service award applies at 3 and 5 years)
  • An additional day of annual leave for your birthday or the closest working day to it
  • Paid statutory bank holidays (8 days)
