Rustenburg Girls' Junior School is seeking a passionate Part-Time Guitar Teacher to join its Music Department from January 2027.

The role is an independent contracted position, dependent on learner numbers, estimated at about 2–2.5 days per week, with opportunities to grow the programme and collaborate with a dedicated team of educators.

Rustenburg Girls' Junior School is seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Guitar Teacher to join its vibrant Music Department from January 2027.

The department is a distinctive and dynamic space that embraces innovation, creativity, and growth, and plays an important role in nurturing a love of music among young learners. This independent contracted position, dependent on learner numbers, is anticipated to be approximately 2-2.5 days per week, with potential for growth within the programme.

The successful applicant will be an exceptional individual who will:

• Hold a recognised music qualification or equivalent teaching experience.
• Show a genuine passion for developing the guitar programme within the school environment.
• Inspire and nurture a love of music in young learners.
• Demonstrate excellence in guitar teaching across a range of levels.
• Prepare students for performances, assessments, and examinations as required.
• Work collaboratively as part of a passionate and professional Music Department team.
• Have proven success in teaching guitar to primary-aged learners. Experience in teaching ukulele, electric and bass guitar is advantageous.
• Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
• Show commitment to the ethos and values of Rustenburg Girls' Junior School.
