A Healthcare Center is a community-focused healthcare facility committed to providing compassionate and accessible care to our patients. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks experience to support our finance and administrative operations.

Position Summary:
The Part-Time Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling transactions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks. This is a key role in supporting the financial health of our organization and ensuring compliance with internal policies and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
  • Record and categorize all income and expenses related to patient billing, insurance reimbursements, and clinic operations
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and petty cash (if applicable)
  • Generate and maintain financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, etc.)
  • Support payroll processing in coordination with HR or external provider
  • Assist with year-end closing and preparation for audits
  • Ensure all financial documents are filed and organized securely and in compliance with health center policies

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) is required
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and healthcare-related bookkeeping is a plus
  • Experience working in or with medical or nonprofit organizations preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Workspace, and general office software
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and discretion with sensitive financial and patient information
