Join a dynamic accounting firm in Roodepoort! Work remotely, required to meet at the office in Roodepoort once a month.
Our client is looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator / Tax Administrator to support their firm on a remote consulting basis, as required (20 hours per month and additional hours during busy periods). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced accounting environment and is confident working independently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Knowledge of Sage Business Online including
    1. Capturing
    2. Journals
    3. Management reports
  2. Good knowledge of Excel including creation and maintenance of databases
  3. Good knowledge of CIPC including
    1. Annual Returns
    2. Beneficial Ownership
    3. Amendments to companies
  4. Knowledge of COIDA system


Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:
  1. Knowledge of Pastel Payroll including
    1. Monthly payroll processing
    2. EMP501 submissions
    3. UIF submissions
    4. Creation/maintenance of payroll for clients


Tax Administrator Responsibilities:
  1. Knowledge of e-filing including
    1. PAYE/VAT submissions
    2. SARS correspondence/queries
    3. Objections
    4. Reports


Requirements:
  1. The position is a remote working environment
  2. Applicant must have own computer and internet access.
  3. Applicant must be able to attend status meetings once a month in the Roodepoort area.
  4. Applicant must be able to work with multiple companies.
  5. Working experience in Pastel Payroll, Sage Business Online
