Job summary

EdUpStairs is seeking a paramedic with HPCSA registration to deliver Advanced Life Support and EMS services in the KwaZulu-Natal district. The role requires current HPCSA Paramedic registration, a Code C1 license with PRDP, and extensive EMS experience per grade.

The position reports to EMS shift leadership and involves treating patients pre-hospital and transporting them to appropriate facilities while adhering to SOPs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• CCA qualification with HPCSA Paramedic registration (current card).
• Valid Code C1 driver’s license with PRDP (GP).
• Extensive EMS experience after HPCSA Paramedic registration (7+ to 24+ years).

Responsibilities

• Provide Advanced Life Support and Advanced Medical Services for the District.
• Respond to emergency calls in the district.
• Conduct shift handover and maintain records.
• Control, issue and check drugs and manage equipment.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in good working order.
