Job Description

To ensure efficient and effective support to the Legal Department for maximum output in the delivery of legal services and to act as an intermediary between the Legal Team and internal / external contacts.

Responsibilities include undertaking legal work such as preparing first drafts and conducting initial legal reviews of standard agreements for Legal Advisors and Legal Heads.

Candidate Profile
  • Matric and Legal Secretarial Diploma or Paralegal qualification.
  • 2-4 years relevant experience in legal administration within a law firm, legal department, or legal insurance.
  • Experience in Civil Law, Family Law, Labour Law, and Criminal Law, including processing bills of costs in line with Court Tariffs.
  • Familiarity with Law on Call and related customer services.
  • Proficient in legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
