Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Panel Saw Operator to join the team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with panel saw machinery and cutting melamine boards. As a Panel Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient cutting of materials to meet production targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Panel Saw: Utilize panel saw machinery to cut melamine boards according to specified measurements and requirements, ensuring accuracy and precision.
Quality Control: Inspect materials for defects or imperfections and ensure that all cuts meet quality standards and specifications.
Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on panel saw machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Production Targets: Work towards meeting production targets set by the company, striving for efficiency and productivity.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience operating a panel saw, specifically cutting melamine boards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate cuts consistently.
Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine machinery maintenance.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Must be of sober habits and able to provide good references.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Basic Salary: R8,000 per month
Production Commission: Eligible to earn additional income based on meeting production targets.
13th Cheque: Opportunity to receive a 13th cheque based on the company's financial goals.
Retirement Annuity (RA): Eligible to join the company's retirement annuity plan after one year of employment.
Health for Me Medical Scheme: Eligible to join the company's medical scheme after six months of employment.
Work Schedule: Operates on a 5.5-day workweek, with every second Saturday off.
Leave: 15 working days of annual leave per annum, with public holidays observed unless they fall on a Saturday.
