Job summary

Worldpanel by Numerator is seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to join the Data Quality Team in Cape Town. You will validate panel scanning data, correct inconsistencies, and prepare regular stats for reporting.

Key skills include data validation, data cleansing, and strong Excel/Outlook proficiency, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, data quality, or a related field.
• Understanding of data quality principles and best practices.
• Experience with data validation, data cleansing, and identifying data inconsistencies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with the scanning app and how data is collected.
• Understand and follow processes required for validations.
• Focus on priority checks given by manager.
• Communicate and be in touch with the manager where necessary.
• Provide daily/weekly stats in a timely manner.
• Provide data edits from validation in a specified format within the required timeframe.
• Informing Product Dictionary team of new products that can be added to the Masterfile.
• Provide panellist scanning errors to PM team in required timeframe.
• Demographic validation
• Collating data for the monthly tracking reports
• Ensure backups of own work is saved on network daily.
