Job summary

Tiger Consumer Brands Ltd. is looking for a reliable operator for their Palletizer equipment in Boksburg, Gauteng. Responsibilities include operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and ensuring safety regulations are followed. Candidates must be functionally literate, able to work shifts, and be willing to learn.

Preference will be given to candidates from under-represented designated groups as per the company’s employment equity plan.

Qualifications

• Must understand Process Specifications/Recipes and be able to interpret data.
• Able to read and understand SOPs.
• Self-motivated with high levels of personal discipline.

Responsibilities

• Operate Palletizer equipment according to SOP.
• Conduct quality checks as per checklist.
• Report on wastage and record downtime.

Responsibilities

• Operating Palletizer equipment according to SOP
• Adhere to HACCP principles
• Assist in identifying appropriate Corrective Action where necessary
• Report on wastage
• Conduct quality checks as per checklist
• Record downtime
• Ensure that equipment and work area is clean
• Rectify and report all deviations to Supervisor
• Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to and report any unsafe practices
• Adhere to personal and factory standard in respect of hygiene

Qualifications

• Functionally literate and numerate.
• Understanding of Process Specifications/Recipes/Interpretation of data
• Ability to read and understand SOP’s
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Understand goals and objectives as explained by the supervisor
• Able to work shifts which also include overtime and weekends
• Team player
• Self‑motivated with high levels of personal discipline
• Willing to be trained and multi-skilled
