Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First:
    • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • Technical:
    • Report any misuse or damage of Company property to the Shift Leader
    • Do painting touches on Sprayed castings
    • To run receiving report & sort all issues with Receiving team
  • Operation:
    • Do cycle counts
    • Manage WIP ageing & Critical parts in the Machine Shop
    • Maintain 6’s at GR area
    • Adherence to all statutory HSE and housekeeping / 5S requirements
    • Paint parts according to material requirements
    • Clean parts with thinners before painting
    • Apply grease and tectyle
    • Print, paste the labels on the parts according to the material identification.
    • Check the parts for minor defects.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12); or 12 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license. Valid forklift license. Overhead crane license
