KwaZulu Natal – KwaZulu Natal : Our client is seeking an experienced Packhouse & Farm Accountant who is passionate about numbers and adept at implementing financial systems.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

POSITION INFO : MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA preferable
• 10 years of experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in relevant software.
• Previous experience with Xero
• Previous experience with manufacturing / packhouse
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

• Implement and maintain robust financial systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including stock control systems, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and legal reporting requirements.
