Within our Packaging R&D function, we have an opportunity for an R&D Packaging Technologist: Milling & Baking.
This role aims to elevate the importance of packaging within our Milling & Baking and Pies Food business. Responsibilities include delivering the R&D Packaging program, executing innovation and renovation projects for retail and QSR segments, developing roadmaps for Responsible Packaging as part of waste reduction in our Sustainability Strategy, and identifying savings through the Value Engineering Program.
The role also involves executing resilience programs on alternative packaging materials in partnership with Sourcing and Procurement, supporting Supply Chain with packaging design and quality projects, and collaborating across functions including Marketing, Customer Development, Consumer Insight, and Quality. Externally, the role requires strong partnerships with packaging suppliers.
