Job summary

VKB Agriculture in Mpumalanga is seeking a dedicated packaging and milling operative. The role involves packaging products, loading stock, supervising milling, cleaning dispatch areas and providing friendly client service. The ideal candidate holds Grade 12, has a technical background, and maintains a clean criminal record and good health.

Experience in corrugated packaging or milling is preferred. You will work in a hands-on environment, following safety procedures and maintaining production

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with reading and writing skills.
• Technical background will serve as a recommendation
• Experience in the packaging and milling processes will be preferred
• Clean criminal record
• Medically fit

Responsibilities

• Working on “feeding” section and “take off” section in the carton making process.
• Set up feeder table, do calliper measurements, mounting and dismantling of printing tooling.
• Record keeping of production run information.
• Washing and housekeeping of printing machines
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Packaging of products;
• Ensure accurate loading of stock
• Supervision of Milling process
• Perform cleaning services and neatness of the Dispatch area
• Friendly Client Service
