Headline Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day packaging operations, including operating and maintaining packaging machinery.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations to create a secure working environment.
• Maintain high-quality standards through effective quality control measures.
• Lead, train, and schedule packaging team members, providing coaching and feedback.
• Collaborate with production planners to create efficient production schedules.
• Monitor and manage packaging material inventory levels.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in packaging, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Experience operating and supervising the operation of packaging machinery such as fillers, canners, shrink overwrapper and sleeve applicators is very beneficial.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
• Computer proficiency for production planning and inventory management.

Salary: Base salary will be dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time position (Monday- Friday including weekends on occasion)
