Placements24 is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to cover Paarl, Western Cape, SA. This field-based role focuses on engaging with businesses to offer packaging machinery and drive revenue targets.

You will qualify leads, demonstrate capabilities, and close deals while building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have field sales experience in capital equipment or industrial products, strong negotiation and CRM skills, and a willingness to travel within the Paarl region.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales, ideally capital equipment or industrial products.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, negotiation and CRM usage.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and travel within Paarl region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve targets for packaging machinery in the territory.
• Identify and prospect new clients in target industries.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations of machinery features and benefits.
• Understand client needs and recommend suitable packaging solutions.
• Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients as the primary contact.
• Collaborate with technical support and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Attend trade shows and client visits to promote the brand.
• Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and proposals for management.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity.
