Job summary

Pollock & Associates invites applications for a Machine Operator in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs, within a GMP-regulated packaging department. You will set up and run filling and packing lines, ensuring accuracy and hygiene for every batch.

Reporting to the Packaging Supervisors, you will perform line changeovers, ensure correct fill volumes, clean machinery per procedure and maintain accurate in-process documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 or NQF 4.
• At least 1 year experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing.
• Assertive with initiative and strong time management.
• Accurate and composed when working under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Machine changeovers, setup and the correct change parts for each pack size.
• Accurate fill volumes and balance checks to quality standards.
• Cleaning of machinery and workstation according to procedure.
• Accurate in-process documentation and reconciliation of every job.
