Job summary

NBL Isando Biscuits invites an experienced Packaging Equipment Specialist to advance maintenance, project support and operator upskilling at the Isando factory in Kempton Park, Gauteng. You will drive uptime, safety and efficiency in packaging lines and lead capital projects in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in packaging engineering or similar environment.
• Experience with vertical form fill seal machines, case packers, conveyors advantageous.
• Continuous improvement project track record advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment uptime and efficiency.
• Provide maintenance and project support, training and upskilling of artisans/operators.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in packaging and biscuit handling processes.
• Collaborate with OEMs, contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to site standards.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and relevant safety regulations.
