Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Site Cleaning Coordinator for a part-time on-site role in Paarl, Western Cape. You will oversee cleaning staff, create schedules, monitor inventories, and ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory cleaning experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to motivate a small team while maintaining high cleanliness standards. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or supervisory role in commercial or industrial settings.
• Understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safe use of cleaning chemicals/equipment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a small team.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Part-time availability with flexibility for Paarl.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties and site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the site cleaning staff.
• Develop and implement daily/weekly cleaning schedules and task assignments.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals; reorder as needed.
• Train staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
• Address cleaning-related issues promptly.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment for the team and site occupants.
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and regulations.
• Report on team performance, supply usage, and operational challenges.
• Assist in deep cleaning tasks when required.
