P2P Operations Manager (Africa)

This position is highly driven by P2P operational tasks; P2P and crypto-operations experience come first.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, sustain and manage the Africa P2P business, local operations, product localisation, and facilitate regulatory matters.
• Collect local users, communities' feedback, and competitors' insights to optimize our service offering.
• Explore collaboration opportunities with local P2P partners, blockchain/crypto communities, and associations to expand P2P awareness in the African market.
• Explore more P2P-related partnerships.
• Design and implement go-to-market strategies to boost P2P volume growth, facilitate content building, and promotion strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with regulators, banks, and payment partners.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current regulations to provide strategic advice.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of proven success in a similar role within operations at a blockchain/crypto company, financial institution, or bank in Africa.
• Equipped with a data and business analytics mindset.
• Deep understanding of local communities and the crypto space in Africa.
• Experience ideally focused on P2P; Fiat/Fintech experience would be a bonus.
• Bilingual in English and Niger-Congo is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
