Job summary

Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa, PTY is seeking a skilled fabricator/fitter to fabricate structural components for buildings, bridges and tanks. You will interpret blueprints, align and fit parts with welding and fitting techniques to meet specifications.

Willingness to travel overseas, including Europe (Poland), is required. The position offers a monthly salary around R30 000–R40 000 with accommodation, transportation, and medical insurance, and requires a passport.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality.
• Experience with welding, brazing and soldering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs to understand project requirements.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, saws, grinders, and drill presses.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using welding and fitting techniques.
• Measure and inspect products to ensure they meet standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment as needed.
