Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. In this outbound role you will research target accounts, identify decision makers and book initial discovery meetings to seed the sales funnel.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo and Salesforce to manage your pipeline, personalize outreach, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with the wider sales team.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role.
• Agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
